3. DUTCH APPLE CARAMEL STREUSEL CHEESECAKE

What I Was Working With:
‘Tis the season for those fall flavors (September,October, November, December). With Thanksgiving just around the corner, this is the perfect cheesecake to have. What could be more perfect than an apple pie/cheesecake hybrid?? Nothing i say-nothing.
I love apple pie and cheesecake (duh) and this cheesecake was delicious. There is a lot more apple pie than there is cheesecake in this one. So if you aren’t a huge cheesecake fan, but you love apple pie, than this is the cheesecake for you. This cheesecake has HUGE apple chunks that are swimming in caramel. The “dutch” part of this cheesecake provides a perfect crumbly cinnamon walnut streusel topping in contrast to the creaminess of the original cheesecake.
The cheesecake part of the dutch apple caramel streusel cheesecake was found mostly towards the back of this cheesecake towards the typically delicious apple pie crust. I wish there was a more even ratio of cheesecake to apple pie in this slice of deliciousness, but it was still SO SO good.
Overall Rating: 8.0/10
Delicious and tastes like fall. If you are not in the mood for a chocolate cheesecake then this would be a great choice for you. The only downfall would be that there was not as much cheesecake as I would’ve liked. Does this cheesecake still have a spot in my Top 3… Gonna have to eat some more cheesecake to determine…
